My name is Ms. Villamizar, also known as Ms. V! This is my first year teaching at Santa Clara, and I am so excited to be a part of this community. I grew up in Chicago and adored attending Catholic school for both grade school and high school. I graduated from the University of Southern California (fight on forever!) with a double major in International Relations and NGOs & Social Change and a double minor in Spanish and Education & Society. I am now pursuing my Master's in Education from the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) Teaching Fellows program at the University of Notre Dame.
I am looking forward to continuing to grow and learn alongside my students! I am teaching 2nd grade Math and English/Language Arts and 3rd and 4th grade Math and Religion. I am passionate about working towards educational equity, exploring new places, and getting to know others. I feel so blessed to be able to spend the next two years as a part of the Santa Clara community!
